When I was pregnant with my first child, and in my third trimester, I was just so completely exhausted, that the thought of standing for more than 5 minutes at a time for something as "unnecessary" as a pregnancy photos was the absolute last thing I wanted to do.
A dear photographer friend, after many attempts, convinced me to let him take my photo. I was so not into it and so tired, I didn't even wash my hair for the shoot. While I am so grateful for the images we did get, I still wish that I had pushed myself a little bit to capture those fleeting, sacred moments in time.
The Session
Each session includes 1-1.5 hours of shooting time, and can be shot outdoors on location, in studio, or possibly in your home.

A conversation to ensure the session is styled and tailored to create the look and feeling you are after.
Pre-Shoot Preparation
As your shoot approaches, you will receive guidance on how to look and feel your best when the day arrives! You will receive tips to prepare physically, as well as information that will set any nerves at ease!
Wardrobe Consult
Guidance in selecting clothing and styling options that will photograph well, as well as styling assistance for any partners or siblings in the shoot
Hair and Makeup
Be pampered with a fabulous HMUA who will style your hair and apply makeup that will make your natural beauty shine in your final prints. If you prefer to do your own makeup or go without, that is absolutely alright with us!
Professional Posing Guidance
Allison will guide you through the shoot from beginning to end, while maintaining a natural feel, making sure you will have both a multitude of images to choose, and a memorable experience to celebrate yourself and your growing family
Optional Wardrobe Change
Keep one look for the entire shoot, or change it up for more variety in your final images. Nude/semi-nude counts as 1 wardrobe option.
Professional Portrait Editing
All photos are color corrected. Light photoshopping is also included. Some clients prefer more photoshopping, some opt for none, and some just a tad- and we love all of these options, and will discuss to find out what look feels right for you and the look of your session!
In Person Viewing and Ordering Session
A private appointment for you to view all of your images and make your selections for purchasing. Packages are available with a combination of albums, wall art, prints and digitals as well as a la cart options.
