Miss J and I connected on social media. Miss J has done boudoir shoots in the past, and was looking forward to her first boudoir shoot in Los Angeles after moving here. After our first phone call, I was so excited to work with her. She has such a sincere warmth, and is so vibrant, it's seriously difficult not to laugh or smile around her! She shared that through all of the chaos of 2020, the shoot proved to be an uplifting experience and an opportunity to reconnect with herself during tumultuous times. What was your favorite part of the session?
The time Allison takes to get to know who you are and what you want. I loved the trust and comfort we built before the session. It really helped me express myself in a more personal and vulnerable way (just as I hoped!)
What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence and self image?
Doing this shoot reminded me that I am powerful. Amid the madness of the world and significant life-changing events this year, I am grateful to have the experience to reconnect with my body and spirit.
Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?
BETTER! Allison was clear in her communication leading to the shoot. I knew just what to bring and envisioned the poses ahead.
From the consult to the photo reveal during the ordering appointment, what was the best part of your experience?? Would you change anything?
I wouldn't change a thing. Allison was terrific to work with on such a personal project. I loved the communication, professionalism; more importantly the end result!
