Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? No, I have not but I would go back to Allison in a heartbeat! The experience was so positive from start to finish. I felt nervous going in but her professionalism and warmth put me at ease. She is a pleasure to work with and I am so happy with my photos!
Did you have any fears or hesitations around doing a boudoir shoot?
I was very nervous going in, but Allison really made me feel so comfortable. from choosing lingerie to posing for the photos to deciding what package to buy, she was so easy to work with. Her demonstrating the poses was super helpful!
What motivated or inspired you to do your boudoir shoot? Why was it important to you? I have always struggled with being comfortable in my body, and when I recently got engaged I thought this would be a nice gift for my fiance. Well, it turned out that this was more a gift to myself. I felt so beautiful and in my skin. It was a gift to myself and something that I will cherish for a long time.
What was your favorite part of the session?
My favorite part of the session was seeing how beautiful I looked after taking the first shot! It was kind of an emotional experience and Allison really captured the moments so well and made me feel so safe throughout it all.
How did this shoot and seeing your images affect you? Did doing this shoot affect your self confidence, self worth, or self image? This is one of the main reasons I shoot boudoir and I would love to hear your story and experience!
It definitely increased my self-confidence and made me want to share them with close girlfriends who would benefit from doing this type of thing! I have always been self-conscious and have a bit of body dysmorphia. I felt so beautiful and did not have that negative self-talk that usually creeps in. It allowed me to see my true physical beauty and get in touch with a very vulnerable side of myself.
What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything? Trying on all the lingerie and actually shooting on location with Allison. I would not change a thing!
How would you describe your images? How does it feel to have these images of yourself that you can keep forever? beautiful, sultry and sexy.
